Odette, located in Singapore’s famous National Gallery, is the first restaurant owned by Julien Royer, a young award-winning chef who earned his 11th place in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2015.
Installation date | December 2015 |
Location | Singapore |
Odette offers modern French cuisine based on the seasonality of quality local products.
The kitchen is surrounded by glass walls, through which diners can watch the chefs prepare their dishes.
In this beautiful open kitchen, Marrone has installed a customized cooking block on which the restaurant’s name, Odette, has been engraved.
Chef Julien Royer expressed his opinion regarding the job carried out together with Marrone: “I was really lucky to meet Armando thanks to a mutual friend. I was impressed by the concept of “custom-made” to satisfy the needs of today’s chefs.
What distinguishes Marrone’s cooking blocks is attention to details and the latest technologies applied, such as induction burners, bain-marie and salamanders.
Marrone’s job was top-class, from the moment we sat down together to design the cooking block to the moment the kitchen was installed!”.
Receiving such an opinion from one of the world’s best chefs is a true honor for Marrone.
