The Osteria di Passignano opened in 2000 and is located within the ancient Abbey of Passignano, in the heart of the Chianti Classico area.

The tavern was founded by Marcello Crini, a great connoisseur of the Tuscan food and wine culture, and Allegra Antinori. The Antinori family owns the vineyards surrounding the Abbey, from which it produces the refined Chianti in the cellars below the monastery.
In the kitchen of the Osteria di Passignano, a Michelin-starred location, 2 cooking blocks equipped with all the tools needed by the chef, have been installed.
